COMMENTS HIGHLY APPRECIATED. WE ARE RECORDING FOR THIS ALBUM AS WE SPEAK 8D

===================================
1.) Threads Of Life
===================================
Music By: Threads Of Life
===================================

Verse 1

As you dwell on all of your mistakes
Disturbing thoughts of yesterday
Just a lost cause to you in your little worlds
The little turblulent worlds created in your own hell
The fragile threads tearing under this pressure
Challenging the very threads of life that brought you here
In this hell you brought upon yourself
You will see the life you know dissappearing
Right around you as you run deeper into the abyss

(Chorus x 1)

Deep within the threads of life are tearing
You must release yourself to break free (BREAK FREE!)
Deep within the threads of life are tearing (ARE TEARING!)
You must take on this hellish nightmare (FACE IT!)
Deep within the threads of life are tearing (ARE TEARING)

Verse 2

Yet you fail to see this truth
If you cant break away from this hell
Then the threads of life are tearing away
Leaving you alone in this insecure hell
Leaving to run the gauntlet alone
As the sword finds its way down deeper
Severing all ties to this life you forsake

(Chorus x2)

Deep within the threads of life are tearing
You must release yourself to break free (BREAK FREE!)
Deep within the threads of life are tearing (ARE TEARING!)
You must take on this hellish nightmare (FACE IT!)
Deep within the threads of life are tearing (ARE TEARING)

(Instrumental Breakdown)

Deep within the threads of life are tearing
You must release yourself to break free (BREAK FREE!)
Deep within the threads of life are tearing (ARE TEARING!)
You must take on this hellish nightmare (FACE IT!)
Deep within the threads of life are tearing (ARE TEARING)

Last call -- ponies for sale Aug. 20th, 2008 @ 10:32 pm
[info]midwinterthaw, posting in [info]my_little_pony
Last call for the remaining eight ponies I'm trying to re-home: if they don't go to a collector, they're probably going in my next yard sale!

My flickr photo album is here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/99606643@N00/sets/72157606861118922/

I have Flower Dream, Sunspot, Banana Surprise, Crunch Berry, Twirler, and Swirly Whirly. I believe all are in good (not great) condition.

In addition, I have a Baby Cuddles and a Baby Drummer in good condition which I'd love to throw in with anyone's order.

If you're looking for any of these, just let me know and make me an offer. I'd love to see each of them go to someone who will appreciate and take proper care of them.

I saw on the internet a while back that Gonzo: The Life and Work of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson was going to be playing in Scottsdale on the 22nd, but now I can't find it anywhere! Much less tickets!

This was going to be a pretty special weekend, I'll be disappointed as all hell if I can't find it. Anybody know?? See how concerned I am by my many question marks?????? No, really. ;(

Awwwww. Proof that people in Hollywood think of more things than themselves.

"The late Heath Ledger's daughter Matilda was spotted skipping along the streets of NYC yesterday with her mom Michelle Williams in the cutest pink sundress. Every time I see a photo of the 2-year-old I can't believe how much she looks like her dad. He definitely lives on through her.

As most of you probably know, Heath was filming Terry Gilliam's "The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus" at the time of his death. Johnny Depp, Jude Law, and Colin Farrell stepped in to complete Heath's role, playing different versions of his character "Tim."

When the three actors learned that Ledger's will had not been updated to include his daughter, the generous trio decided to donate all the money they earned from the film to little Matilda!

It's good to know that there are a few nice guys in Hollywood."

Way to go, guys c:

Well, I was originally going to post Ninna Nera for today's song, but upon searching I remembered "Ninnananna" by Modena City Ramblers, which is pretty and I like it a bit better. also it's an easier translation lol.

Modena City Ramblers - Ninnananna

Lyrics )

Translation: Lullaby (which I won't cut, because it is so pretty. XD)
I was walking next to the shores of the river
in the fresh breeze
of the last days of winter
and in the air went an old song
and the tide was dancing, running towards the sea

Sometimes the travelers stop, tired
and rest a bit
in the company of some strangers
Who knows where you'll sleep tonight
And who knows how you'll hear this song.

Perhaps you are rocking yourself to the sound of a train
following the gypsy boy
with the backpack under the violin
and if you're lost
in some strange, cold land
I'll send you a lullaby
to feel closer.

One day
guided by sure stars
we'll find each other again
in some far-away corner of the world
In the shallows, among the musicians and the drifters
or on the roads where the fairies run.

And I pray to some god of the travelers
that you have some money in your pocket
to spend tonight
And someone in the bed
to warm away the winter
and a white angel
sitting next to the window.

I'm actually close to giving up now. Is there a store anywhere in the valley that has a substantial selection of subj? The most I can find is one crappy model per store.

-Sigh- sometimes things that just seem to bug you feel so much better and relaxing after crying, talking, and everything else in between feel so much better to just let it all go. in one fell swoop. release everything, everything inside you that wants to tear at the fabric of your soul. itching to be free from the bonds of your heart...

you must first be honest with yourself.
Then and only then will you transcend to total freedom
Fear will not be your boundary
Life will be yours for the taking"

I don't want to pay $45 a month for internet. :|

But the fact that I buy a $4 coffee drink to use free wifi several times a week is probably more expensive in the long run. But also more delicious.

It's not fair. Or something.

I'm not liking it here in Canada. I'm glad I'm going back home tomorrow so I can finally get away. Two months is too long of a visit and I'm not sure if I even want to go back a third time.

Colorado will be a whole lot better. I'll finally belong somewhere and stay in a place without loud, obnoxious party drinkers. It also makes me happy to know I won't be in place that smells like pot and cigarettes. I'll be rooming with two totally chill friends who have great work ethic and know how to have a good time without needing booze or loud horrible music. Peace and quiet. It'll be the perfect environment for me to work in. After I fly back to Cali tomorrow, I'll be packing my things for the drive to Colorado on the 27th. I can't wait to start a new life and live somewhere where I'm actually welcomed. I'm soooo excited this is all coming together. :D

Colorado really is my big break. I'll be able to go to college there and make lots of new friends. REAL LIFE friends! Holy shit! I haven't had those in 5 years! 8D

Learning how to drive will be top priority as well. I can hardly wait. ^^

You guys are total jinxes.

I have never in my life seen one of those bug things (Box Elder Bugs) you were all talking about yesterday.  Not once.  Lived here for 16 years.

There were two in my condo today.  One of them was JUST crawling on my keyboard.

JINXES!

As a precursor, I haven't been en pointe for almost 6 years, so naturally i have some issues...these are also brand new shoes so they're not broken in yet. hopefully with some more work i'll be less wobbly/stiff and my arch will improve. i just wanted to track my own progress over the next few months but if anyone out there is a ballet dancer or instructor please feel free to critique! :)
